Dear St. Bernard’s family and friends,
We need you. Your generosity is what helps us survive and thrive. As California continues to close hundreds of public schools due to declining enrollment, Crusaderville continues to grow.
How can you help? For over twenty years, we have been an independent non-profit. Our school projects and facility upgrades are paid for with donations.
Your gift makes a huge difference for our teachers and students.
St. Bernard’s Christmas and New Year’s Wishlist
- Wi-fi Hardware Upgrade: Our system is aging out and is no longer dependable.
Imagine planning a lesson in Marine Biology to bring your students onboard a research vessel in real time and then crossing your fingers and hoping the internet connection works. Thankfully, it did work and our students spent class traveling along the ocean floor with the team from the R/V Nautilus.
- The grotto bathrooms: The Maples and Cruz families led a full remodel of the central bathrooms two years ago. It’s time to tackle the grotto bathrooms – used by hundreds of students a day and by our parents and community guests at volleyball and basketball games. How old are the bathrooms? 75 years old!?
- Security Upgrades: Many of our doors and locks are original as well! Help us secure the building with new exterior doors that can be locked and unlocked from the main office. Exterior cameras: We have a great Advanced Security network of cameras inside the building and are now looking to add security cameras on Dollison Street, Henderson Street, and C Street.
We can do all three projects for $225,000.
That’s a $1,000 gift from 225 of our graduates.
A $500 donation from 450 of our graduates.
We can do it! Thank you!
