Dear Friends and Alumni of St. Bernard’s,

The charism of our founders, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange, comes from the Gospel: Love every person as a dear neighbor.

At St. Bernard’s Academy, we continue to live the CSJ mission each day.

Service to others is what we do.

Servant leaders are who we are.

This Christmas season, please consider supporting our school, staff, and students.

Your generosity supports St. Bernard’s mission, teachers, classrooms, and teams.

Examples of service leadership:

Our sixth graders bring joy and laughter by playing games and visiting with the residents of local care homes.

Our middle school and high school students help feed the hungry at St. Vincent de Paul under the guidance of Father Mike Cloney and Linda Bareilles.

Our eighth graders clean the streets of our entire neighborhood, including our beautiful, newly renovated city park, Da’ Yas – Where the Cypress Are (20/30 Park).

Our Service Club prepares and serves meals to the homeless with Betty Chinn on Sundays.

Our ASB raises money and collects tons of food donations for the annual Holiday Food Drive.

Senior Service Project examples:

Matthew Klopper cleaned hundreds of gravestones and burial vaults at the Ferndale Cemetery.

Peter Worsley and Elijah Altic renovated our chapel with new carpet, ceiling, paint, altar, and hand-wrought altar rails.

Victoria Heiser and David Snow tie-dyed t-shirts and distributed shirts, sandwiches, and bottles of water to the homeless.

We are One Family working together to grow in faith, love, and service.

Thank you for your support!
