St. Bernard’s Academy students have opportunities to visit classes at Humboldt State University. Scheduled trips include Filmmaking III, World Music, Psychology and a Fisheries class. Past visits included a Kinesiology class and an Environmental Sciences class. Small groups attend the class then participate in a question and answer session with the professor, dean and/or HSU students. Through this amazing program, high schoolers get a feel for what college will be like, reducing any fears they may have and instead, instilling a positive view of the future.
